BASF’s Versys® Inscalis® Insecticide approved for use in California crops 

BASF’s Versys® insecticide has received registration for use in California on a variety of crop groups, including brassicas/cole crops, leaf and stem vegetables, pome fruit and stone fruit. Versys insecticide delivers effective control against aphids while being gentle on beneficial insects and pollinators.

  

Sefina Insecticide Received California Registration

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., June 16, 2020 – BASF’s Sefina® insecticide has received registration for use in California. Sefina insecticide delivers strong control against piercing and sucking insects while being gentle on beneficial insects and pollinators. It is labeled for use for a variety of crops including cotton, citrus, fruiting vegetables, and cucurbits. 

  

BASF’s position on use of glyphosate on LibertyLink GT27 and GT27 soybeans

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, March 15, 2019 - LibertyLink® GT27™ is the first soybean technology with herbicide tolerance to both Liberty® herbicide and glyphosate. This system provides growers with even greater flexibility and choices in their weed management programs. LibertyLink GT27 and GT27 soybeans tolerate the use of glyphosate like any other glyphosate-tolerant crop.

 

  

BASF protects fungicide intellectual property rights and innovation investments

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, February 2, 2018 – BASF filed a lawsuit against Willowood LLC to halt the ongoing infringement of certain BASF patents relating to the manufacture and use of its fungicide pyraclostrobin.

  

Farmers continue to have access to Engenia herbicide

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC - The decision to extend registration of Engenia herbicide for an additional two years means that farmers will continue to have access to a critically needed tool to fight the expansion of herbicide resistant  weeds in their soybean and cotton fields. Farmers have told us that Engenia herbicide has given them the cleanest fields they have seen in years. Clean fields can lead to higher yields. That means farmers are able to grow more and sell more.
