A look at the 2018 Commodity Classic trade show

Join BASF for presentations, scholarship announcements and the Science Behind media event

Commodity Classic, the largest farmer-led, farmer-focused convention and trade show in the U.S., is quickly approaching. At this year’s event, taking place in Anaheim, Calif., from February 27-March 1, BASF will offer growers the opportunity to learn more about improving yields and increasing overall plant health. BASF will also preview a new training tool and announce the winners of its 2018 commodity association scholarships.

BASF will kick off their Commodity Classic events with its annual Science Behind event, taking place at the Angel Stadium of Anaheim on February 26. For media only, this year’s event will focus on insect control. Media will hear presentations from BASF experts on the insect challenges growers face in addition to a panel discussion on the changing insecticide landscape and the need for new solutions.

During the trade show, presentations at BASF booth 1509 will take place every hour. Topics include increasing plant health benefits, best practices for optimizing corn yields and what to check for before spraying. A full list of scheduled presentations will be available at the booth at the start of the show.
