A mid-year update from the editor

External Communications Manager, Casey Allen, shares newsletter updates

Hello there,

It’s hard to imagine that we’re already halfway through 2019. On behalf of BASF, I want to thank you for your ongoing commitment to sharing the important facts and truths of agriculture with growers across the nation. We’ve continued to deliver upon the newsletter updates we promised at the start of the year, and we hope that these changes have made your pursuits in storytelling and reporting more efficient.

In the coming month, we’ll begin incorporating new newsletter layouts. We get a lot of emails day in and day out; we’d hope that some of them are at least aesthetically pleasing! As part of this, we hope to better highlight that any article we share with you is available for your use in its current form.

You’ll have noticed that we’ve been sharing profiles on the Periscope team; our agency partner that assists us in public relations efforts. If you’re looking for additional bylined articles, quotes, spokespeople and images, please don’t hesitate to reach out to them. The team at Periscope is happy to assist you in any way they can.

Additionally, we’ve begun to target articles based on geographic location. It is our aim to provide you with the information and content that is most relevant to your coverage. While we’re making strides in tailoring this content for you, know that there is still more in the works on our end to ensure that you’re getting the most out of this newsletter as possible. We have some great new content coming your way, and we’re excited to share it with you in the following months. That’s all we can share with you at the moment, but keep your sights set on our newsletter this fall.

Please feel free to reach out to me or any of the members of the Periscope team with questions or suggestions. We take pride in being able to provide timely and accurate information to our partners, and we hope to only improve moving forward.

Regards,
Casey Allen
