RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, March 17, 2025 – BASF Digital Farming today launches xarvio FIELD MANAGER for AgBusiness, a new, scalable product offering specifically designed to support farm advisors managing complex farm operations.
Supporting high impact decisions with greater precision
With a focus on data-driven precision, xarvio FIELD MANAGER for AgBusiness provides more detailed analytics on plant growth stages, pest and disease risks, and includes enhanced dashboards with detailed tables, maps and graphs to assist with the simultaneous management of multiple farms, fields and tasks. Building on the proven reliability of xarvio FIELD MANAGER, it delivers crop and field specific agronomic recommendations across all job steps, which are timely and tailored to prevailing conditions. Additionally, it provides farm advisors with a powerful, user-friendly digital tool, allowing them to more conveniently provide farmers with advice to boost productivity, optimize input efficiency and foster sustainability.
Customized for business needs, efficiency and more convenience
For organizations, xarvio FIELD MANAGER for AgBusiness can be seamlessly integrated into existing business structures and customized to fit specific needs. This includes organization management, license management and support for other administrative activities.
A key feature of xarvio FIELD MANAGER for AgBusiness is its Scouting Trips function. It allows farm advisors to prioritize scouting trips based on risk assessments, ensuring they focus on fields and field areas that need attention. Using GPS coordinates, farm advisors can conveniently navigate to specific field locations, easily document observations, add detailed notes (even offline), and save this information. Reports can then be generated and shared with colleagues, farm managers, or clients via email, helping to streamline workflows, improve decision-making and record keeping.
Leading with innovation and agronomy
“With xarvio FIELD MANAGER for AgBusiness, we’re giving agronomists a unique digital tool specifically designed to help them manage their daily operations with greater efficiency, precision, and insights, says Kyle King, Commercial Lead of Digital Farming North America at BASF. “By providing even more data, new features and enhanced dashboards, we’re supporting even better decision-making, which has lasting impact on farm productivity, sustainability, and profitability.”
xarvio FIELD MANAGER for AgBusiness will be available in North America from late 2025, and support corn and soybean crops, as well as canola in Canada.
Available via an annual subscription, xarvio FIELD MANAGER for AgBusiness offers users a cost-effective product tailored to specific farm management needs. It can be accessed via desktop computers, tablets, and smartphones.
BASF Digital Farming intends to launch the product in Argentina and Brazil for the growing season 2025/2026.
