Each year BASF is recognized for our efforts to great an open and stimulating work environment for all. Recently, this includes:
•2020 list of America’s Best Employers for Veterans
•Out of the tens of thousands of eligible organizations, BASF was one of 500 companies recognized as America’s best large employers by Forbes, ranking #378. BASF was selected based on an independent survey where 50,000 U.S. employees in 25 industry sectors working for companies with at least 1,000 people employed in their U.S. locations were asked questions about a range of work-related topics, such as working conditions, salary, potential for development and company image regarding their current employer. Employees were also asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employer to friends and family as well as nominate organizations other than their own. The final list ranks the 500 large employers that received the most recommendations.
For the ninth consecutive year, BASF Corporation was named one of the Top 50 Companies for Diversity by DiversityInc. In addition to moving up two places to 12, BASF was also recognized for its corporate social responsibility and philanthropic programs and named a Top Company for Environmental, Social & Governance. For the very first time BASF was named to the Inclusion Index by Diversity Best Practices, a division of Working Mother Media. This is the first time BASF has earned this distinction. This award is recognition of our commitment to diversity and inclusion as cornerstones of our BASF corporate values.
