Creating a world where what’s right for the planet is also right for a farmer’s business
At BASF we are committed to supporting a farmer’s sustainability efforts because sustainability goes beyond just caring for the land. It’s about protecting their legacy.
To help farmers be successful while utilizing more sustainable agriculture, new technologies and pathways are needed to expand market access. BASF is here to help provide solutions – products, tools and resources – to help sustain the land while also helping to increase yield potential.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture defines sustainability as producing enough food and fiber to satisfy today’s needs without compromising the ability of future generations to do the same.1

While it’s critical to make sustainable agriculture work for the future health of people and the planet, it’s just as important to maximize yield potential and profitability for the long-term economic and social sustainability of farmers and their families. Our sustainability goals include:
Our challenge, how do we get there? We have established four key pillars to guide us in the drive to meet our sustainability goals.
