RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, August 13, 2024 – Fungicide applications are becoming more common in the United States, as farmers battle growing disease pressure in corn and soybean crops. The use of fungicide is an additional cost for farmers and comes with a complex decision-making process of knowing if, where, and when to apply it. The spray timer tool provides users timely alerts based on the existing disease situation, advanced growth stage and disease prediction modelling, which includes weather and historic field data. If a fungicide treatment is required in a field, spray timer recommends the best application timing to help ensure a farmer’s investment in fungicide is as efficient as possible​. Spray alerts from xarvio FIELD MANAGER also provide users with an overview of daily spray weather conditions while connecting to comprehensive product lists to create tank mixes.

Spray timer also provides the user with information on specifically where to apply and allows the user to be notified before yield-reducing stress occurs.
