Canola Stewardship at BASF

BASF is dedicated to being open and transparent about two recent incidents affecting its hybrid canola seed, and BASF has established this site to provide information for those interested in learning more.

 

BASF has confirmed the presence of two distinct events (also commonly referred to as GMO traits) in its hybrid canola seed produced in Montana and Washington State. 

 

BASF is committed to stewardship standards from initial research and development activities through the entire lifecycle of all of our products, including hybrid canola. We are working with canola industry groups in the US and Canada to share information about this incident.
